Flower Halos

As I'm in rainy Seattle for work, I'm dreaming of the So Cal sun and spring flowers. I'm in love with flower halos right now, as they remind me of being a kid in grade school and making flower halo/necklaces  at recess.  They are also a perfect accessory for Coachella! And if you live somewhere where the weather is to cold for the spring flowers to blossom, I suggest making some halos out of artificial flowers!

Braided Coachella Hair

With Coachella right around the corner and the weather heating up in the desert, I find braided hair styles the perfect look for the three day music event. Here are a few of my favorite looks.

Bouncy and Soft

My favorite curls right now, soft and bouncy. The best way to achieve this look is by curling your hair with 1 1/4 inch curling iron. let your hair cool down and then with a paddle brush comb out the curls to a achieve this softer look.

Bridal Bun

Planning a wedding isn't easy, but as a hairstylist I feel like I'm spending more time looking at bridal hairdo's than I am any other detail. My hairstyle of choice right now is the high bun. So simple and so sophisticated, but you never know because next week I may just want my hair down and soft!
