Pastel hair color was everywhere on the runway for NY 2012 Fashion Week. I love pastels for spring and it's super easy to do if you are a blonde. Simply have your hair stylist play around with toner at the backwash. Think apricot or light violet.

A New Spin On A Classic Pony

A perfect way to update the classic ponytail. Backstage at the 2012 Spring Marc by Marc Jacobs fashion show the hair team modernized the pony and it's super simple to do. Start by putting your hair in a pony about midway up the head. Then flip the hair towards the top of the head and clip it in place with a barrette (about 1/2-1 inch up from the pony). Lastly flip hair back down and pin with a second barrette about one inch below the elastic pony.

It only takes a minute more to do but the results are far better then the regular ponytail.

Deep Side Part

If your looking for a change but not ready for a new cut or color, then I recommend a deep side part. It's perfect for Spring and it will really open up your face.
